"Slick" is a river otter (Lutra canadensis), a sleek swimmer with velvety thick fur, common to the shorelines and coastal marshes of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.

I have shown "Slick" in a familiar mode, diving and chasing his supper in his watery world, here represented by an aqua globe with a bas relief design of salmon swimming.
